The Burrows Lab
@ McMaster University
We aim to prevent infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a serious, multidrug resistant bacterial pathogen. We study its host attachment factors called type IV pili, motility, biofilm formation, and antibiotic resistance.
Our work is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, and the Ontario Research Fund, plus industrial support.
