2016 BBS picnic and Biochemistry Olympics

We lucked out with beautiful weather for the 2016 edition of the departmental picnic, held for the first time at its new venue, the Dundas Driving Park. The BBS Graduate Students Association – including many Burrows Lab graduate students – did a great job organizing the annual Biochem Olympics, with events ranging from cell (jelly bean) sorting to waste bin diving to a 2 person wheelbarrow sprint. The enthusiastic teams ranged from all summer students to all profs – and the profs squeaked out a silver medal finish!
