Ryan Buensuceso, a PhD candidate who works on the role of FimV and the Chp chemotaxis system in regulation of twitching motility in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, successfully defended his PhD thesis today. Ryan kept his composure after a tense beginning when the exam chair was missing (scheduling fail) and did a fantastic job of presenting his talk, and fielding questions. We thank Dr. Cezar Khursigara from the University of Guelph for acting as the External Examiner, and Dr. Lynne Howell, one of Ryan’s committee members for making many trips to Hamilton to help Ryan navigate the project. Congratulations Ryan!
