Rubber Ducks & Superbugs: IIDR’s Dr. Burrows & Dr. Bowdish Comment


Recent studies from Switzerland and the US suggest that bath toys such as rubber ducks may be “swimming itself in potentially pathogenic bacteria.” In response to this, IIDR’s Dr. Lori Burrows and Dr. Dawn Bowdish spoke to over two dozen media sources about these new findings, the potential link between superbugs and other common household items, and the dangers of over-sanitizing your home.
