The Burrows lab fielded a big contingent for this year’s 2016 Canadian Society for Microbiologist’s Annual General Meeting, held at the University of Toronto. Ryan Buensuceso, Tyson Carter, Sara Kilmury, Ryan Lamers, Tori Marko, and Ylan Nguyen all presented posters, while Tiffany Leighton was one of 12 students selected to give a talk. Despite having unbelievable AV issues that eventually led to the entire conference audience having to move to another building to continue the symposium, she kept her composure and did a fabulous job, capturing the 2016 Cedarlane Student Symposium award.
